A batch of new towels have just hatched. I decided to revisit this design I first wove last year, using bright colors in the warp and using some of the same colors in each towel’s weft a little differently. It was fun to have all these colors

Three unisex silk and cotton scarves are ready for your consideration. Two are 58” and one is 66” long, just right for an easy loop around the neck. I find the silk and cotton combination perfect for this season- light, soft and comfortab

Happiness is when the new napkins look great with all three new runners … and when I manage to finish them for tomorrow’s @bhamfarmersmkt.
What you see in these pictures took me 6 long days of warping, dressing the loom, weaving, hemming

Still life in the studio + a brief sunshine event.

The latest cushy cotton towels are off the loom and ready for action. Though the warp uses a gradient of 13 different colors, I think the end result is easy on the eyes in a cheery sort of way.

Now gracing a table in Pennsylvania. I was given free rein to make a set of placemats and napkins for a customer to give to a newly married couple. Factors driving color and design choices were:

We’ve slipped into 2024 with very little fanfare around here. The weather has been unseasonably mild so far, making it hard to believe it’s winter. And though the weather gurus say we’re due for a major dip in temps and actual snow

I’m kind of blown away by the fabulous support of all my market customers this year! It’s been wonderful to see so many scarves, placemats, napkins, towels and runners taken home to be given as gifts or to be enjoyed right away. I’v

More lambswool scarves came off the loom this week. They’re more beautiful in person, believe me (I can’t seem to capture the subtleties of color in a photo.)

And they’ll all come with me tomorrow to the last 2023 @bhamfarmersmkt.
